Chica Beach is reputed to be the best for diving and snorkelling on the island.
The North side is easy to enter at all states of the tide, the water is clear and the variety of fish is good.
I have not yet tried the South of the restaurant jetty where the divers go when more experienced as this is accessed down steps. |
All species of bream, large parrot fish, wrasse,blue fin damsel and
sharp nosed puffer are easy to find. Blenny are rarer and other
unrecognised fish. The best was a lizard fish in very shallow water near the restaurant. |
